Lucien Kroll's Pavilion /
second year (ENSAPM)
period: one semester
supervisor: Xavier Fabre
project site : Paris 14, France
How to represent the work of an architect and his way of thinking? This exhibition pavilion tries to pay tribute to Lucien Kroll. The project site was choosen to embody the idea of participatory architecture. This square offers an important voluntary life, thanks to the association "Le Moulin à café".
The design of the building follows the existing circulation and the trees of the square, and includes them into the structure. But interior design disrupts the logical progression of the visitor. Some movable walls can be moved by people. Indeed, interior design changes everyday. The pavilion shows a different place everyday thanks to the particpation of visitors.
